WHERE I JUST BE

Beneath the moon, where no false light intrudes,

I sit between forest and fathomless blue,

the ancient trees behind me,

the ocean breathing before me, and the heavens unveiled in their primordial multitude.

Stars awaken like sigils in the dark, constellations whispering forgotten names.

The lighthouse turns, a periodic flame upon the waters, guiding ships through the veil, and something within my soul through its own night.

With every turning light, I feel myself ascending drawn upward by an unseen hand,

a quiet beckoning from beyond the veil:

Rise, remember, become.

Here, beneath the celestial arch, I recognize the self beneath the self,

not the name, not the story, not the mask of becoming,

but the stillness that has always been:

Just Be.

And I understand the northern rainforests of Vancouver Island are not merely a retreat from this world.

They are the place where I remember that I belong to it.

Where forest, ocean, star, and spirit converge into one sacred breath,

and I return, at last, to my true home.

With Love

Just Be.
